Soul Devourer is a Reoccurring Time-Limited S-Tier Accessory for The Ripper, Jack. It was available for purchase in the Illusion Hall for a limited time around August 2019.
Availability[]
As it is not a true Limited Accessory (which are denoted by the "limited" tag found in the top right of certain card icons), it can return to the Illusion Hall shop multiple times. It frequently returns with its specialty costume Soul Emissary.
- It was originally available for purchase August 15th to September 4th, 2019
- As it was the third place winner of the 2020 Costume Voting Contest, it was available for purchase from June 23rd to July 23rd.
- It was available for purchase again from January 28th to February 18th, 2021.
- It returned as the 3rd place winner of the 2022 Costume Voting Contest for purchase from March 31st to April 28th.
- It returned for purchase from March 23rd to April 19th, 2023 during the Soul Emissary Spirit Guiding Rules and 5th Chinese Anniversary events.
- It returned for purchase as the 8th place extra quota winner of the 2025 Costume Voting Contest from March 27th to April 23rd, 2025.

Physical[]
When equipped, this accessory is on Jack's back rather than the waist. It is a black scythe, with a red-tinged blade and wrapped with bandages in parts. It also gives off a black mist around the blade.
Special Effect[]
Carry Animation[]
This accessory changes Jack's carry animation to dragging a downed survivor, rather than using balloons; which is almost similar to Axe Boy's Boundless Forest carry animation.
Abilities[]
The accessory itself had a black fog surrounding it and black feathers falling, It will also change the fog around Jack's claws and from his foggy blade to a black mist. The fog-trail left from Foggy Blade is also black within red eyes appearing, with dark hands reaching up from it.

- The carrying animation that Soul Devourer grants is actually the original carrying animation for Jack from the old beta version of Identity V when the game was more horror based.
- The costume "Soul Emissary" was part of this "Dark Sins" costume set which was sold for 3268 Echoes.
- As Soul Emissary won third place in the 2020 costume contest, this was also made available for another period of purchase between June 23, 2020 to July 23, 2020.
