Stibnite is an A-Tier Costume for the "Fool's Gold", Norton Campbell. It was introduced in Season 32 Essence 3 (The Proof of Azoth's Theorem) and is currently available in Memory Sphere - Previous Seasons.

Appearance[]

Physical[]

"Fool's Gold" has pale grey skin, wide azure eyes, silver, wavy hair with crystals of stibnite on the ends. his hair is longer and now covers his eyes. The scar on his face is now a deep blue with a bright blue symbol over it. An upside down triangle is drawn on his chin, otherwise known as the water element symbol.

Outfit[]

"Fool's Gold" wears a black silk dress shirt, under a faded blue coat that features intricate silver designs and a red underside. A short single shoulder caplet is on his right, with the same silver designs and red underside. His right sleeve is cuffed, while the other is ripped to show his now stibnite covered hand. A black jabot complete with gold designs and a bright red gem is placed around his neck. in the center of his torso, the shirt is ripped to reveal his crystalline stomach, featuring a single, floating piece of stibnite.

A silver belt buckle on his waist represents the water element. Attached to the belt are two silver items, likely a chain and coin. His left hip, which is now crystals, has ripped through his clothing to reveal itself. He wears black slacks under chaps that match the colour of his coat. Thin black belts are fastened around his left thigh, and just under lies another rip in his clothing that shows the stibnite hiding underneath. His chaps are tucked into semi high black boots with silver designs and matching chains on each side. He wears a black glove on his right hand, an eye-like symbol is on the top of his hand, along with a ring of silver.

Weapon[]

Armed with his crystalline pickaxe, it takes the form of a sharp and jagged weapon. In the center, a single glowing red eye is present.

His rock is now the same deep blue as his eyes, with bright blue glowing cracks all over. Along with small white sparkles.

Special Effects[]

The costume features bright blue and silver swirls that protrude from his torso, light blue sparkles, and streaks of fast moving rainbow lines from the floating crystal. His rock hand glows the same blue, with swirls from and to his elbow and wrist with small sparkle effects. The symbol over his scarred eye glows the same blue, with swirls of blue smoke flowing from both eyes, along with white sparkles floating from his eyes. The pickaxe has a simple reflection effect.

Each crystal part has a very subtle rainbow effect that is not very noticeable from afar.

Trivia[]

  • It is named after the mineral Stibnite which has the chemical formula Sb2S3, antimony trisulfide. In a 17th century alchemical text by George Starkey, stibnite is described as a precursor to philosophical mercury, a possible ingredient for philosopher's stone.
  • Stibnite or Antimony was largely used in alchemy for purification processes.
  • This costume represents the Albedo stage of "The Great Work", which means whitening.
  • In the showroom, the painting which Fool's Gold smashes is from "The Twelve Keys of Basil Valentine".
