Summer Adventure

Summer Adventure was an event organized during the Fifth Global Servers Anniversary, Castle Zinaida's Unfinished Chapter, to celebrate summer time. It was available between July 27th and August 31st, 2023, during the final portion of Season 27. The event introduced a new temporary map, a decorated version of Lakeside Village, where players could interact with the scenery, take pictures, use fireworks and complete quests.

Introduction[]

Welcome! Let's enjoy some Summer Camping Time! Visit the Time-Limited Public Map "Summer Adventure" to capture fireflies, barbecue, and enjoy the fireworks! Don't miss the chance to capture the sparkling moments and make beautiful memories.

Exploration Quests[]

A set of quests were available for players to complete. The quests included a repeatable daily quest and several unique quests, granting currencies, unlock cards and the new B-Tier General Character Accessory, Bottle of Fireflies. The quests required players to interact with various elements of the event map, and could be completed in any order.

Summer Adventure Gift[]

Welcome! Below is your daily gift of fireworks. Please remember to claim the gift and visit the Summer Adventure - Time-Limited Public Map to enjoy the celebration!

Each day the player logged in during the event's duration they would receive a Summer Adventure Gift Letter in their personal mail. The letter contained 10 Firecrackers and 5 Premium Fireworks to be deployed and used in the Summer Adventure Interactive Map.

Interactive Map "Summer Adventure"[]

The Summer Adventure map resembles a smaller version of Lakeside Village, with several festive decorations and new interactive objects and locations for players to use. The map was available between 11:00 and 23:30, Server time, each day. Once players gained access, they'd have to select whether to enter the map as a Survivor or Hunter, among those they possess. This choice is mostly aesthetic, however Hunters are unable to use some of the interactive elementes.

Each Map allowed for a maximum of 20 players to gain access at the same time. If spots were available, players could invite in other users in their Friends list. At specific time intervals, a firework show will also take place on the map, over the sea. The show will include several colorful explosions, some of them displaying stylized images of characters such as "Psychologist", Patient, and Mercenary.

Interactive Elements[]

Similarly to the 2023 Chinese New Year Fireworks Show, cameras are scattered across fixed points of the map, allowing players to take pictures of other users and of their surroundings.

Other interactive objects are present on the map, however, some of them could only be used if selecting a Survivor model. These elements were as follows.

Guard 26's Barbecue Stand	Guard 26 will be overlooking a small barbecue stand, cooking seafood on top of the fire. If players collected seafood from the beach, they can access a short minigame to cook them at the stand.
Cameras	Several cameras are scattered across the map, allowing players to take pictures of the surroundings once interacted with.
Seats	Seats can be found around the bonfire and on top of the Seaside Rock. There are four seats for Survivors in both locations, but only one log for Hunters to sit on by the Bonfire.
Moonlight Tent	Players can lay down inside the tents' couches.
Seaside Rock Glider	Players can climb the rock and, once on top, use a glider to glide downwards. Note: Survivors only can use the glider.
Trampolines	Players can jump on the trampolines once interacted with. Note: Survivors only can access the trampolines.
Seesaws	Players can sit on the seesaws. If a second player also interacts with it, they can swing up and down. Note: Survivors only can access the seesaws.
Swinging Seats	Players can sit on several swinging seats located across the map. Up to two players can sit on the same swing.
Fireworks Stand	Small stands are present outside the Moonlight Tent that, once interacted with, will gift the player 10 Handheld Fireworks they can set off.
Insect Net Shack	A large shack with fishing equipment that, once interacted with, will gift the player 5 Insect Nets to use for catching fireflies.
Dock Fireworks	Three stationary fireworks lean against a fence on the docks. If interacted with, they'll let off colorful explosions into the sky above the Beach.
Fountain Fireworks	Many firework bundles will be placed around the map automatically, for players to set off. They will emit a colorful fireworks fountain.

Usable Items[]

Players could also collect several event-exclusive items on the map, some necessary to complete the event's quests while others purely for entertainment purposes. The collectible items were as follows.

Seafood (Raw)	Freshly caught from the sea. (Can be cooked on the grill.)	Several pieces of raw Seafood can be found on the shore. Once picked up, new pieces will spawn after a short amount of time.
Meat Skewer (Grilled)	Carefully-prepared meat and vegetables with just the right temperature and seasonings. (Consume to receive a random effect.)	Effects: speed boost; giant player model; shrunk player model; on-screen visual effects.
Meat Skewer (Burnt)	It looks really charred... (Consume to receive a random debuff.)	Effects: on-screen ink effect; inverted player controls; slowed movement.
Insect Net	A sturdy net used to capture insects. (Can be used at the designated location to capture Fireflies.)	Five of them can be periodically aquired from the appropriate Stand.
Bottle of Fireflies (Not Full)	It seems to have space for quite a few more fireflies. (Capture 3 fireflies to fill it up. Can be carried by the character once full)	Swarms of fireflies will periodically appear around the map, and Insect Nets are necessary to catch them.
Bottle of Fireflies (Full)	A glimmer of light in the summer night. (Can be carried by the character once used. Expires after 1 minute.)	If selected, the item will be carried on the character's hip for a minute. If heading inside the Moonlight Tent, a prompt will be available to free the fireflies, sometimes generating a visual effect when doing so.

Usable Fireworks[]

On the map, players can use the Firecrackers, Premium Fireworks and Handheld Fireworks they obtained. If players run out of the former two, they can either wait for the next day to receive more for free or they can purchase more in the form of pakcages directly in the event's interface, by using Clues and Fragments. More than one package could be purchased at once and the price is adjusted accordingly.

Handheld Fireworks, on the other hand, will be dispensed without limit at the four Firework Stands surrounding the Moonlight Tent, in batches of 10 each.
