Trickster is a Reoccurring Time-Limited A-Tier Costume for the Embalmer, Aesop Carl. It was introduced as part of the Call of the Abyss III Abyss Treasure (Season 9 Essence 2).
Availability[]
As it is not a true Limited Costume[1] (which are denoted by the "limited" tag found in the top right of certain card icons), it has returned in the Call of the Abyss III Abyss Treasure, along with the other costumes, several times.
- It was originally available from January 2nd to February 27th 2020 during Call of the Abyss III Qualification (Season 9 Essence 2).
- It returned from April 30th to May 7th 2020 during Call of the Abyss III Finals (Season 10).
- It returned again from January 14th 2021 to February 4th 2021 during Call of the Abyss IV Qualification (Season 14).
- It returned on April 30th 2022 to May 11th 2022 during the Call of the Abyss V Finals (Season 21).
- It returned on January 5th, 2023 to February 2nd, 2023 during the Call of the Abyss VI Qualification (Season 24).
- It returned on January 1st, 2024 to January 24th, 2024 during the Call of the Abyss VII Event (Season 30).

Physical[]
His hair is black with two white streaks, but his skin tone is unchanged. His eyes are black lined with golden thread.
Outfit[]
When equipped, Aesop wears a stylish black checkered vest over a dark blue collared shirt, black striped pants, and white gloves on both hands. He has golden chains on his vest, as well as a black leather jacket with golden embroidery worn as a cape, with red lining over one shoulder. A glowing purple watch dangles from the left side of his chest. The whole outfit is accessorised by a golden hand watch and carmine tie.

Makeup Box[]
His makeup box has been changed to look more like a brown wooden mechanical suitcase, with a glowing blue container wrapped by dark tentacles protruding from the case.
Coffin[]
The coffin is wenge, with part of the coffin lid is black upon which decorative golden cross is placed in the middle at the top. The entire coffin is entwined with dark spiky tentacles extending from below. The inside of the coffin is lined in black cushioning.

A trail of white glitter particles is left behind while moving.

In the collection hall, a fierce battle is going on. The Netherwalker appears with a sly smile, leading you into the depths of the corridor and facing the abyss!

The artist who calls himself a traveler from other worlds turns crazy imagination far beyond that of human beings into endless inspiration, which fascinates all audiences. The seekers who were attracted by the vision stepped into the depths of the corridor and were shocked to realize that the crazy author had only used the most exquisite skills to present a real scene that no one had ever touched.
But he is just an implicit communicator, and the abyss behind him is still constantly looking for new agents, waiting for opportunities to spread chaos to the world. The embalmer wears a A costume called Trickster and works hard to keep the Surveyor's minds from being corroded, so that those who hold the creations of the Abyss can move forward step by step on the dark road. But his misinformation to play with people's hearts finally came true in the Puppeteer.
Trivia[]
- Trickster originally had an unchanged coffin design upon release, but it was refurbished to fit his costume more after the conclusion of Call of the Abyss III.
- This is Aesop's first costume to feature cape physics, as well as the very first costume to feature a jacket worn as a cape.
