Watchman is an A-Tier Costume for the Embalmer, Aesop Carl. It was introduced in Season 24 Essence 1.

Physical[]
His hair is black, tied with golden hair-tie, skin tone is slightly paler with pearly scales visible on his forehead, neck and wrists. His eyes are golden with white pattern resembling a Triquetra.
Outfit[]
Aesop wears a black cassock belted with a cord and embellished with gold embroidery resembling daggers. Lace white surplice finished with gold embroidery is put on it, alongside with a short black cape decorated with golden ornaments showing a clock face. Underneath it, he wears black suit pants and black patent leather shoes. Around his neck he dons a long golden chain ended with a singular key. The outfit is accessorised with turquoise gem brooch pinned to the collar and a matching turquoise ring worn on his left ring finger.

Makeup Box[]
Aesop's cosmetic case turns into a white leather briefcase engraved with dragon image in a circle. One side features multiple small dragon horns pointing upwards, culminating in a large pair of horns pointing downwards. It is closed with two black leather straps that turn into chains in the middle. The details are golden.
Coffin[]
The coffin is white, a clock face decorated with golden ornaments extending to the very bottom is placed in the middle at the top, adorned by a pair of white dragon wings. The sides have white ornaments resembling Corinthian columns. The inside of the coffin is lined in white cushioning, while the sides are black .
Special Effects[]
White sparkles fall from him, when the skin is equipped.

Design Concept
The Embalmer - Watchman is a believer of the White Dragon Clan. He has been hiding in the church for many years, guarding the Bell of Silence that imprisoned Draikana. We referenced choir costumes, and use pure and holy colors as the main elements to highlight his holy, vulnerable and harmless temperament. The dragon scales on his neck and exposed skin hint at his hidden identity.
Initial Sketches
This time, the theme for the Embalmer's costume is a choir boy with the power of the White Dragon, who claims to be a decent person in the name of priesthood, but practices vile murder methods; who as a whole seems to have a weak and harmless sense of holiness.
In the first sketch, the clothing matches the idea requirements, but the overall temperament and color scheme lacks a feeling of holiness, the theme of the design isn't obvious enough, and the details and some accessories lack focus.
After adjustment, the costume ends up being mainly black and white with some lighter gold patterns. His hair is combed neatly, and key elements such as kets, dragon scales, and gems are added.
Later, the costume was optimized, the gloves were removed based on the prototype, and the design of the Embalmer - Watchman was completed.
Costume Details
- An elegant sapphire was inlaid on the dark shawl, and the exquisite lace neckline highlights the holy and melancholy temperament of the choir boy.
- The dragon scales on the side of his neck are exposed to hint at the hidden connection between the Watchman and the White Dragon Clan.
- The briefcase engraved with dragon totem reliefs was tied with two heavy chains. It seems that there are some hidden secrets inside it.
Showroom Notes
The Watchman appeared with a huge analog clock in the center, closing his eyes and praying devoutly with the key in his hands.
The seemingly quiet and holy coffin suddenly began to shake violently, as if some mysterious power was about to break out of its shell. The Watchman was also shocked by the sight in front of him, taking two steps away in a panic.
Costume Effects
The Watchman dances gracefully, the sapphire on his collar shining brightly, with subtle silver lights floating around him.
