Wendy was from a wealthy British family and married a nameless Czech painter and moved to the Czech Republic. She was his muse for painting and, after her death, he pushed Anne to be ladylike and like her mother.

As Wendy died giving birth to Anne, she was not able to raise her and left Anne yearning for the love of a mother. Anne spent much of her time in the baby room Wendy prepared for her, as it gave her comfort. Wendy left her estate to Anne, with Anne transferring 50% to her father and uses the rest of her inheritance to open a toy shop. When Anne fell below the poverty level in Britain, she inherited a secret 30% of Wendy's estate that she set aside for her. Along with this 30%, Wendy left Anne a brand new children's wooden aircraft.
