Dovlin can be used to soothe Survivors' wounds, while Strong Dovlin can be used to increase the Movement Speed —Duo Hunters' item description from the Phone Booth

The Wine Barrel is a exclusive tool which the Barmaid starts each game with. It cannot be replaced with an item from a Chest until all wine is gone.

Gameplay

The Wine Barrel contains two types of alcohol that Demi can use:

1. Healing Dovlin: Can be used by Demi to heal either herself or her teammates. Two per game but only one can be held at a time and the second must be "mixed" before it can be used.
2. Movement Dovlin (D.U.P.H.R.I.N): Can be used exclusively by Demi to gain a temporary speed boost. Only one per game.

The Healing Dovlin can heal up to 50% fear, so long as the survivor is not incapacitated. Small damage over the 50% marker will be healed first to bring them to exactly 50% fear.

• For example, if a survivor has been hit by Photographer (who causes 75% fear due to his Spacetime trait), then 25% fear will be healed by the Dovlin and 50% fear will remain.

Chasing Shadows

Even though in matches D.U.P.H.R.I.N only gives you a speed boost, in Chasing Shadows it gives you a speed boost AND it heals your damage when the effect wears off. Therefore, it might pay off to save it in case you get injured.

Appearance

It is a metal ice bucket with a red crayon heart scrawled onto the back, filled with ice, a bottle of D.U.P.H.R.I.N and 2 bottles of Strong Dovlin. The wine bottles are made of dark green glass, with D.U.P.H.R.I.N looking orange in color while Strong Dovlin is a deep red. The icons for the drinks used in the interface show Strong Dovlin having a label with a "+" sign on it (indicating it's used for healing) and D.U.P.H.R.I.N having a label with a ">>" symbol on it (indicating it's used for a speed boost).

Costume Changes

Its appearance can be changed when the Barmaid has the following costumes equipped:

S-Tier

• Fragile - TBA
• Sea Salt Mocktail - The bucket is transparent and filled with a blueish liquid. It has salt on the rim like a glass of Margarita would. Besides the bottles, inside are icecubes, leaves and a lemon slice, the handle is curvy and golden. The Strong Dovlin is elongated in shape, made of transparent glass with a bright yellow liquid inside while the D.U.P.H.R.I.N is elongated in shape and a dull gray color, with a golden star and stripe print.
• True Proof - Her bucket is made of shiny silver with many fancy details and designs engraved into it. It also has a navy blue and light yellow striped ribbon wrapped around the top, accompanied by a small bow with a yellow flower acting as its center. The bucket is filled to the brim with ice in order to keep her drinks cool. The bottles are completely translucent and are beautifully shaped like crystal wine bottles.

A-Tier

• Black Rose - Her bucket looks like a small barrel; it's made of dark brown wooden planks and having 2 metal rivets, a metal handle and a big round metal plate with an engraving of a rose and text that reads "Brandy Rose Wine". The bucket is filled with ice as usual, and the bottles are square in shape, somewhat resembling bottles of Jack Daniel's Whiskey bottles. The bottle of Strong Dovlin is red while the bottle of D.U.P.H.R.I.N is orange. Looking closely, the label on both bottles has Andrew Kreiss' face on it, with eyes instead of buttons, with the text "WANTED" above it.
• Enoshima Junko - Her bucket has Monokuma's face on it. Her bottles are changed to white and black and are described as containing soda instead of wine (as Junko is underage and legally cannot drink alcohol). They also have small Monokuma figures near the mouth.
• Fueling Agent - Her bucket looks like a dirty yellow metal motor oil can with a handle and a spout. The top is completely open and there is thick wire around it shaped like a handle which Demi carries the bucket by. The text on the bucket reads "motor 63 oil". The wine bottles are shaped like vintage, elongated motor oil bottles, with the Strong Dovlin bottle being yellowish with a black neck and the D.U.P.H.R.I.N bottle being greenish with a red neck.
• "Last Dance" - Her bucket is now glowing Jack-o'-lantern filled with skull-shaped bottles. Black feathers and lollipops are sticking out of the pumpkin sides. Strong Dovlin is now a skull shaped bottle made of transparent glass with red liquid inside. D.U.P.H.R.I.N is now a broom shaped bottle corked with a piece of stick, made of transparent glass with brown liquid inside.

• Soprano - Demi's bucket and alcohol are changed when this costume is equipped. Her bucket looks similar to Black Rose's, except some of the bucket seems to be golden. The barrel also has a golden plate with an engraved Toro symbol and text that reads "VALTEA". The bucket is filled with ice as usual, but some of the bottles resemble normal champagne bottles, with one being a bit wider and having golden lines on it.
• Vermouth - She carries a simple metal bucket filled with ice, but it's rounder in shape and seems cleaner. One of the bottles in the bucket has a white ribbon tied in a bow around its neck.

• Drunk Butterfly -
  • After drinking for the first time, Blue Winds appear.
  • Turquoise Glows on both her body and Wine Barrel, Turquoise Particles and Butterflies appear.
• Beach Spectacles -
  • When Tipsy, a green aurora-like effect surrounds Demi, with faint leaves appearing around her.
  • When mixing, a strong and bright greenish yellow effect can be seen around her bottle, with big bubbles coming from it.
  • When drinking D.U.P.H.R.I.N, the dash effect coming from her is bright yellow, with lemons coming from her. The screen effects are bright green with bubbles and leaves circling the screen.

Trivia

• Whether she's drinking Strong Dovlin or D.U.P.H.R.I.N, Demi will always be drinking from a bottle of D.U.P.H.R.I.N in the animation.
• Giving a bottle of Strong Dovlin to a teammate will cause them to keep holding the bottle even if they have another item or are interacting with something. No, they still haven't fixed this bug.
• There is a bug in which crouching, drinking and then playing an emote will make Demi perform the emote while crouching even though it shouldn't be possible. Emotes that can be played while crouching this way include Demi's dance emote, New Year Greetings bow emote, the Chasing Shadows Winning a Race/Winning Again victory emotes and the Blow Kiss emote. This bug can also be performed with other characters (via the drink you can buy in Tarot and Chasing Shadows).
